As I work with Personal Training clients and people who attend my fitness classes, it is a pleasure to receive positive feedback and comments about how I have helped them to achieve their goals on their fitness journey.

I started working with Helen in an attempt to lose some weight for my wedding. After 6 months of lockdown and not having done any exercise for several years, it was tough to begin with and at several points I felt like giving up. But Helen was encouraging and persevered with me, with a bit of tough love where needed!

 

She created varied workouts to find exercises that I would enjoy and to challenge me as I became more confident and capable which in turn led to improved results. She also supported me with getting back to eating healthily in a sustainable and enjoyable way. She encouraged me to workout in between sessions, but at my own pace and with consideration of other commitments such as my busy job, and she provided lists of exercises which I could easily follow.

In under a year, I lost 24 inches, dropped 4 dress sizes and subsequently felt amazing on my wedding day! Even more importantly, I now feel healthy, active and body confident, and in a position which I’m positive I can maintain. I couldn’t recommend Helen highly enough.

Helen is the inspiration I needed to pass my fitness test as a hockey umpire in the National Programme. Working with me 1-2-1 over 10 weeks, with a lot of motivation and support from Helen, I was able to achieve my goal using the specialised training programme she designed for me. 

Following Helen’s programme to increase my fitness levels, we are continuing to work together to maintain my beep test to the required level and sustain my improved level of fitness.

Helen has supported me throughout my fitness journey.  I played a lot of racket sports, but wanted to improve my overall fitness and lose a little bit of weight to help with my agility.  Working with Helen at some of her fitness classes as well as through 1-2-1 training, she helped to motivate me when I thought I had reached the limits of my capability.

Helen is a great encouragement and supporter and I will continue to work regularly with her over the coming months and years.

My motivation to exercise was lacking and my fitness wasn't great.  The thought of joining a gym or class wasn't particularly appealling, so the opportunity to meet with Helen as a running buddy and personal trainer was the ideal solution.  Helen put me at ease and challenged me enough to make progress without my goals being unrealistic.  I have no hesitation recommending Helen - she helped increase my confidence and ability.
